Members of the CBYO represented the Young people of Belfast at a major conference hosted by Belfast City Council
The Pride in our place conference was held in the new Waterfront Conference Space on Saturday 26th November and was attended by almost 1000 Civic Leaders from every Council in Ireland. Members of the CBYO Wind and String Sections performed at a reception on the night representing the young people of Belfast
The performance were well received with lots of compliments about the standard of repertoire performed on the night. This is not the first time that the CBYO has partnered with Belfast City Council. Last year the Orchestra performed for the Mayor of Boston at Boston City Hall as part of the Orchestra's 60th Anniversary Tour and to help launch Belfast and Boston as Sister Cities
