Members of the CBYO Brass section enjoyed a very special morning on Tuesday 24th June when they performed for Her Majesty the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh.
The Quintet entertained the VIP Guests at Crumlin Road Gaol ahead of the Royal Party's arrival and then heralded their arrival into the iconic North Belfast building.
Speaking after the event, CBYO Manager Robert Briscoe said that the Orchestra was "honoured to take part in the historic event. The fact that the CBYO was selected is recognition of the contribution which the Orchestra and the School of Music has made to civic life in Belfast over 6 decades and is a fitting way for us to begin our Diamond Anniversary celebrations!"
